So today we left for Prague and we went out and about to explore this unique city. We started out at the Prague Castle and then worked our way down. We had lunch in the royal gardens and they had wild eagles, hawks, and owls out there (chained of course). The Castle was really different from what I expected to see. I had always thought castles were cold black and all made of rock. Well this one housed the president's office and some other government stuff. It was really nice compared to like the Tower of London where you could see all the rock. Prague's castle was covered in colored plaster and had a different feel to it. We got some really amazing views of the city below and we saw the dining hall which had some crazy cool cielings, the basilica, a whole bunch of medieval weapons and armor from all over the place. I could not believe that people would fight in metal suits like this.
We then walked down to see they city and it was a very pleasant and beautiful walk. Everything looked like it was well preserved (it was the only city not bombed in WWII). We went to the new and old city centers. I saw the famous astrological clock and the Koo Koo Clock Tower. We then walked to some farmer's market and through some shopping mall. It was cool but nothing really really special. We came back and we made our own food here at my friend's house.
